Christmas at the Smyer'sJaxon is really scared of Santa- and didn't want him to come- so he wrote this letter to Santa and taped it to our front door. Here Jax is with his Kansas Jayhawk sweatshirt. We haven't figured out why its his favorite- but he hates to miss any of their games- or his Steelers.
Grandma always comes to stay with us on Christmas Eve- but doesn't love to share a room with Allie cause she wakes up WAY TOO early- like about 3a.m.

Beck Christmas Party

We love getting together with cousins and family and remember and visit. We love to play Beck Bingo and all of the fabulous prizes. We really love it when grandma gives us our big bag of M&M's and of course the cousin picture.

Cory- Teague-Grandma- Kyle and Zachary with their M&M's

Here is mom and her siblings- 2 have passed away. Dad and mom. Aunt Peggy, Grandma, Aunt Sue, Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Chad, Aunt Susan and Uncle David.

The great-grand kids. Missing lots- I don't know how many-

My cousins with grandma- I think we are missing at least 8
Hope we will see each other sooner- but I always look forward to
Beck Christmas Party to spend time together.

Happy November!!
It was lots of fun having some snow days- Uncle Butch came and took us sledding. It was tons of fun, but really cold.
Jaxon started to read books from the library-crazy he is sounding things out and writing words all over
Allie had her 7th grade tourney on her 13th birthday!!! She played great!
Here she is with her strawberry cake ball birthday cake.

The day after Thanksgiving mom and dad got us all a nights stay at the Fairfield- We had fun swimming and playing and watching football games.
Teague, Zach and Kyle were too hungry to even smile!

Zach played in the Mini-Dome in the state football tourney. We ended up 3rd. It was fun to see him out there. Yeah Declo

Here is dad's birthday- we "tail-gated" at the movie theater. We took him to see Secretariat. Some of the Garrard kids were sick- so we were missing a few of the "locals"
Back to Thanksgiving- the 5 and 6 year olds!
We had a great month. Kept really busy and had so many blessings as a family.
We love living in this great community and so close to wonderful family.
Thanks for all of you!
Happy Thanksgiving!

That's about all. Sorry- but here are tons of pictures of our recent life.

It's FALL!! almost

And so the year begins!
-Teague is a senior--
--Zachary is a junior
---Allie 7th grade
Trey is in 5th grade--
-Jaxon is in Kindergarten-

Allie is on the DECLO volleyball team- she has done great and of course loves it.
My friend told me that we didn't need to do a paternity test on Trey- cause he had to get his appendix out like the rest of them. So Zach was 8- Trey 10 and Teague was 12---Den was a little older. So if Jax is on schedule- either next year or when he's 14. Of course Dennie was working and coaching football 2-a-days so TD and I spent lots of time together. He was trooper and hardly complained at all. When we went in for his week check- he had been playing dodgeball-football and basketball, the Dr. said he's doing great. OK so I am getting really old- here is Den and I before my 20 year class reunion!!! I don't think there is anything better than Friday nights in the fall at the football field. Teague is #11 and Zach is #1. They are awesome. Here they are before their first game against Aberdeen- we won 24-21. Yeah Declo!

Here is Jaxon on his first day of school. He was so excited and is going to love it. He can't wait to read and do math. And he even got to start soccer today and has a game in 4 days.
Fall time fun

Summer Fun

We have had a great summer- here are a few of our fun times. Sorry about all of the pictures- but enjoy! We went to Hogle Zoo- Trey and Allie had never been- it was really hot and tons of fun. A couple of us went to Bear Lake where Trey had his last baseball tournament. We missed Dennie and Zachary- but someone has to work!
Trey had an awesome summer playing for the Mini-Cassia Braves. He is AWESOME!

Allie got to go on her first young womans camp- one of her great friends Sarah went too. They loved it.

Den and I are keeping up- his fire season is starting to get really busy and football starts this week.
Love summer- but also love school schedules! Weird to have a senior and junior and Jax is in school this year. We better live it up these last few days til school starts.

Zach's 16!!!

Well- my Zachary made it 16 years!!! We were talking today about ALL of his scary hospital stays- at least 25 days- I can't imagine our life without him. He helps me so much and keeps me in check and is such a support to all of us. Zach is a peacemaker and is just awesome. Can't say enough good about him. I know Heavenly Father loves me cause he sent Zach to my family.

Well- he may be 16- but it only true love (at least for now) is golfing. He went in half for his birthday gift and loves his new Cleveland Hybrids. Obviously. Love you Zach- Hope you have a wonderful year!!!

Memorial Day

We are a really blessed family. We come from a great heritage and I am so proud of my ansestors. Memorial Day is a really great day for us to spend time together. We went to Almo and Elba with Grandma Renee and she was able to talk about her family. Dennie didn't know his grandma- she died when Renee was only 12, it was fun to hear stories and learn about her.
Jaxon Grant and Mckell have a wonderful man they were named after. We love grandpa Beck and were able to all tell some of our great memories of him and grandma. They taught us so much and were such great grandparents. Here we are at Grandma and Grandpa Garrard's sharing memories. I miss calling my grandma and asking her random questions, but am so grateful we have the knowledge of forever families.

How fun it is to meet as family. We have the BEST family ever. I love to share memories and friendships. We are blessed to have one another.

Bryden canyon in Lewiston, Idaho. Here is right before tee offs on day 1

State Golf---- I am so proud of my boys- they are doing pretty good- our team is not doing great- 25 strokes out of a trophy, but hopefully we will have a good second round. Teague shot a 90 and Zach a 91. Way to go boys.

Fun first week of May

Happy 5 birthday to Jaxon! He got his new golf clubs and has been a couple rounds this week. Not many little ones that walk nine holes- then 2 hours later go to the clinic and are told they have bad strep throat. Just like the rest of my family- fine if they are on the golf course. He is a light in our family and we can't imagine life without him.

I have the best picture of him on my phone with the puppy- but we can't get it on the computer.
Happy Mother's Day to me!!! Our dog Chance had to be put down in October - I hate not having a dog around. So Cory called me and said my new "baby" was born 6 weeks. Den is so excited that he really doesn't have to buy me a Mother's Day gift, and I couldn't be happier. Either can the kids. We had a name for a boy dog- (but Becky and I didn't know how to tell) We went home with a girl- so is she going to be called Rufus (after grandpa Bennie) , Dutchess (the boy would have been Duke after Zach's Blue Devils) or Ruby??? Time for Family council.
